There are 3 houses on Conondale Station and Maree has renovated and styled all of these houses including ‘The Cottage’, which is available as bed and breakfast accommodation for guests to stay in.

The cottage is a 60 year old house that was relocated from Brisbane to Conondale approximately 40 years ago. It is perched high on an exclusive hill with breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the Conondale Valley. Located 4 kilometres off the Maleny – Kenilworth highway, the cottage is perfect for couples as well as small families and groups.

It is a 3 bedroom (sleeps 6) fully self contained, small but modern farmhouse with lush linens, crisp cottons and natural wood furniture. The living room consists of buttery soft leather sofas to laze and curl up on and read in front of the wood fire heater in winter. The glass sliding doors are one of the main features. These were installed to open up in the warmer months and watch the sun set from the verandah while over looking the cattle grazing near and far away.

Breakfast provisions are provided for the first morning of your stay; bakery bread, farm eggs, milk, butter, jam, herbs from the garden, tea and coffee. Wine, cheese platters and a selection of red meat with organic vegetables are also available at an additional cost with all products sourced by local producers.

Described by guests as ‘the ultimate country escape’, the cottage is available to stay in throughout the year with a minimum 2 night booking on weekends (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) with one night stays offered during the week.

Peak rates do apply depending on seasonal demand with prices starting at $220 per night.
